About VELVET AI
Velvet is an AI-powered fashion commerce platform launching soon. We use conversational AI and photorealistic virtual try-on to reimagine how people discover and shop for fashion. We're a small but ambitious team building at the intersection of fashion and AI, and we're just getting started.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Social Media & Content Intern to own Velvet's presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn from day one. You'll work directly with the founders to create original content, run our launch campaigns, and showcase new AI features as we ship them. We're a small team that works async — no fixed hours, minimal meetings, and full trust in you to get things done in your own time.
What You'll Do
- •Create and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn (posts, Reels, Stories, short videos)
- •Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with our product launch and feature releases
- •Communicate new AI features and product updates in a creative, fashion-forward way
- •Grow brand awareness and community engagement from the ground up
- •Research trends at the intersection of fashion, culture, and technology
- •Contribute to the social roadmap — your ideas will be heard
What We're Looking For
- •Eye for aesthetics and a feel for what performs on social media
- •Comfortable creating both written and visual content (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
- •Strong sense of storytelling and brand voice
- •Basic understanding of social media formats and trends
- •Fluent in English
- •Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working async in a fast-moving startup
Nice to Have
- •Background or studies in fashion, communication, marketing, or media
- •Experience creating content for a brand or product (not just personal channels)
- •Interest in AI and emerging technology
- •Interest in occasional street-style UGC content
- •Eligible for Pflichtpraktikum (mandatory internship credit)
